I'm Ariel Randolph, an artist based in Riverside, California, specializing in a unique blend of cute/macabre/surreal/illustrative/story-driven artwork. Inspired by animators like Rebecca Sugar, Max Fleischer, and Michael John Kricfalusi, I infuse my creations with whimsical charm and a touch of darkness. Each piece is a reflection of my personal journey, translating emotions and experiences into visual narratives that explore the depths of the human psyche.

Since 2017, I have been sharing my art as a popup vendor in Perris and Riverside, where I've had the pleasure of connecting with a vibrant community. My artwork, encompassing paintings, stickers, and prints, embraces both the light and dark aspects of life, capturing moments that resonate with viewers.

In addition to my artistic endeavors, I'm honored to serve as an Art to Go instructor at the Riverside Art Museum, inspiring TK-6th grade students in the Riverside School District to explore their creativity. Through my website, www.artisanyumi.com, you can immerse yourself in my gallery, featuring expressive works that delve into themes of mental health and trauma.

I'm grateful for the unwavering support of my friends and my dedicated husband, who join me on this artistic adventure. Together, we aspire to establish an art gallery/studio where my art and vision can thrive.

Join me on Instagram as "artisanyumi" to stay connected and witness the evolution of my art. Thank you for being a part of this captivating journey through the realms of cute, macabre, surreal, and illustrative storytelling.

"Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get the work done. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you're not going to make an awful lot of work."- Chuck Close
